Pompeii Plus: Reserved Entry + Villas Access is a reserved-entry ticket to the Archaeological Park of Pompeii and three surrounding Roman villas near Naples. Buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD, Pompeii preserves an extraordinary cross-section of Roman urban life across roughly 66 hectares of excavated streets, homes, temples, baths, and public buildings. The reserved entry format means no queuing at the gate, giving visitors more time inside one of the most extensively excavated ancient sites in the world. For more on planning a visit to the region, see the full guide to things to do in Naples.
Inside the park, visitors walk ancient paved streets past thermopolia (Roman street-food counters), the Forum, the Stabian Baths, a large amphitheatre dating to around 70 BC, and two theatres. The casts of eruption victims, formed from voids left in the volcanic ash, are displayed at several points across the site. The ticket also covers three villas outside the main walls: the Villa of the Mysteries, known for its large cycle of Dionysiac frescoes; the Villa of Diomedes; and the Villa Regina in Boscoreale, which includes the Antiquarium housing artefacts recovered from the surrounding agricultural estates. Transfers to the starting point at 123 Via Roma are not included. The site has no wheelchair access.
